A man was arrested for murdering a woman and attacking two men aged 53 and 37 in the city of La Plata. The men had stab wounds in the torso and the right leg, so they were treated at a health center, while the woman was taken to Gutiérrez Hospital in serious condition.
The attacker was restrained by witnesses of the incident, who provided information that facilitated his capture a few blocks from the scene of the attack. According to one of the victims' testimony, the attacker stabbed him without saying a word. Authorities are in communication with the on-duty UFI, which has ordered the necessary procedures and the transfer of the detainee to the judicial office early in the morning.
The Ensenada Patrol Command responded to the scene following a call from neighbors and confirmed the injuries of both the woman and the two men. Security cameras recorded the assault, but the motive for the attack is still unknown. A weapon was found at the scene, and authorities requested additional support to take the injured woman to the hospital.
This unfortunate episode has left the victims with serious injuries, while the attacker has been arrested thanks to the quick actions of witnesses and police forces in La Plata.
